Nelson Bostock Communications has appointed Simon Glazer, Managing Director of Blanc & Otus UK, to head up a new corporate division within the agency.

Glazer has headed Blanc & Otus, the technology sister agency of Hill & Knowlton in the UK, since 2005. He had previously held senior posts within Hill & Knowlton UK and at Firefly Communications.  He co-founded the Blanc & Otus UK office in 2002.

He joins the Nelson Bostock board to lead a new corporate division within the agency, building on the brand development programmes currently delivered to the agency's clients

Nelson Bostock Chairman Martin Bostock says that Glazer's appointment marks a significant new development for the agency:  "In recent years we have widened our portfolio of corporate brand support for key clients, in addition to the consumer and technology PR programmes which have been our bedrock.

"With his vast experience at a senior level within the corporate technology sector, Simon's arrival  will strengthen our corporate offer significantly. He will enable us to integrate the brand positioning, CSR, environmental, sponsorship and other programmes we currently deliver, whilst adding a new element of senior corporate counsel for existing and new clients."
