NELSON BOSTOCK LAUNCHES US BUSINESS DRIVE
2 August, 2007
Nelson Bostock Communications is launching a US operation to offer a one-stop service for US agencies and their clients seeking access to the UK, Europe and beyond.
The agency has appointed its first head of international business, with agency director Lisa Allen moving full time to the US in August to head up the office.
Her remit is to build closer ties with like-minded American technology and consumer-tech agencies who need a highly-effective international partner and also directly with clients who are looking to expand PR activity from the US onto the world stage. Nelson Bostock already handles international business including Canon Europe, Toshiba, Juniper Networks, Sterling Commerce and HTC. Last month the agency managed the global launch of HTC's new 'Touch' mobile phone, which was co-ordinated through the client's US office.
Nelson Bostock Chairman Martin Bostock says that global co-ordination is a logical part of the agency's aggressive growth strategy: "Lisa will be working closely with our partner agencies, and directly with clients, to offer a wider European and global co-ordination and management service," he says.
