WHO WE ARE

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Phil spent two years lecturing before joining BDO Stoy Hayward. In 1983, he set up in general practice following commercial appointments in a private investment group and a French multi-national in perfumery and cosmetics. In 1986 he met up with Roger Nelson and Martin Bostock and his practice acted as external auditors and advisors to Nelson Bostock Communications for more than 10 years. In the late '90s, Phil focused on providing consultancy in various industries including airline catering, oil and retail but his major ties were in PR and market research. However, his strong relationship with NBC became too much to resist and he joined the management team full time as finance director. Playing with his abacus is almost Phil's favourite pastime but trekking along the Inca trail in the Andes and sculling on the Thames at Henley probably just about take precedence.
