Here at NBC we are unashamedly excited when it comes to all things space (we actually have our own in-house space club!). Today something happened that we’ve been (im)patiently waiting for, for a looong time.
Today marked a significant milestone in space travel, the Rosetta mission came to a climax by landing a robotic spacecraft on a comet for the first time! Twitter and other social media channels have been ablaze with chatter around the event, and rightly so, as it was once speculated that the mission was impossible.
Kudos to the European Space Agency, we’re thinking it might just be the perfect excuse for a Space Club outing…
